I'm an actor, and I've worked on the casting side too. Like most actors I'm in a pile of audition groups — and between them I get somewhere between five hundred and a thousand casting calls a day.
Almost none of them are for me. Wrong gender, wrong age, wrong city. But the only way to find the two or three that are mine was to read all of them, every day, and hope I didn't scroll past one.
So I built this for myself. It reads the group, works out which roles actually fit me, and puts them in one list. That's the whole thing.

Everything happens on your laptop. CastingFlow has no server and no account, so there is nowhere for your messages to be sent even if it wanted to.
It reads the messages in the one group you have open, at the moment you press scan. That's how it finds casting calls — there's no way around it.
What it doesn't do: run on its own, look at your other chats, read your contacts, or send anything anywhere. It reads that conversation on your laptop, keeps the casting calls, and forgets the rest.
Nothing is uploaded, so there's no server of ours to breach and no database of users to steal.
Straight answer though: your saved list sits in your browser's storage, like a file on your laptop, without a separate password. Anyone who can unlock your computer and open your Chrome could open it — same as they could open your WhatsApp Web. Lock your laptop and you're where you'd be with anything else on it.
No — genuinely can't, rather than promising not to. There's no account and no connection back to me. Once it's installed, CastingFlow and I have no link at all.
It doesn't log in as you, send messages, join groups or automate anything on your account. It reads what's already on screen in your own browser, the same as you reading it.
I can't speak for WhatsApp's policies, and I won't pretend otherwise. What I can tell you is exactly what it does and doesn't do, and it does nothing on your behalf.
You set your gender, the age range you can play, and your city. Each role is scored out of 100 on how well it overlaps — with the closest matches at the top.
Change your profile any time and everything re-scores. Low-scoring roles aren't deleted, just pushed down, so you can still look.
Your list goes with it, because it only ever lived on your laptop. Export to Excel first if you want to keep it — that file works without CastingFlow.
No. It's a Chrome extension, so it needs a laptop or desktop with WhatsApp Web. Your Excel export opens anywhere, including your phone.
It reads clearly-written casting calls well, and always shows you what it found before saving so you can fix anything wrong.
Unusual formats will trip it up. Always check a phone number against the original message before you call anyone.
Not yet. It reads text, not images. Reading posters is the next thing I want to add.
Nothing today. If paid features come later, what you already have keeps working, and any price will be clear before you're ever charged.
